The Honourable the Attorney General

is requested to advise whether, having regard to the provisions of section XXI of Ordinance no8 of 1858 and of Section VII of Ordinance. no9 of 1887, the Governor has power to direct the discharge of a Prisoner from . Gaol who, detained under the aforesaid law, cannot find security and yet whom it is not considered expedient to deport.
